Araceli P. from California shares a touching story about how Yerdle gave her an opportunity to spoil herself for a change. Here's Araceli's story:
"I stumbled across Yerdle through a free stuff website. My first item, an argyle sweater for my son, was free and perfect for him. I absolutely love the sweater; my son was able to wear it the entire holiday season!
I've learned that I can buy things for myself on Yerdle that I wouldn't buy otherwise. My aunt once told me many years ago 'For every ten things you buy your child, you will consider buying something for yourself, and that doesn't mean that you actually have to get it for yourself.'
Yerdle has allowed me to earn free shipping and has offered flash sales several times, which I have been more than grateful for.
I found a curling iron, mini hair straightener, two dresses, a bathroom scale, and a hand blender.
These were all items that I got just for me because they were all priced so reasonably. I now have a few toys of my own.
And as for giving, I've been able to connect with the decluttering group on Facebook to help me get rid of things I don't need or use anymore.
Giving my things a new home and letting someone put them to good use is rewarding.
The support from the online community has been prevalent and not just for me - my boyfriend has accepted that he has plenty of things that he doesn't use or need, and that his stuff could be donated to someone who will use his old things.
I used to see Yerdle as an online yard sale, but it's so much more. It's life-changing and will take you for the best, unexpected ride of your life."
