SAN FRANCISCO, CA —Today yerdle announced that it was letting go of its front desk representative, Michael Jordan. Jordan had only been working at yerdle for one month. After a storied career in professional athletics, the transition
to working in an office job proved just too difficult for Jordan.
“I really tried to like MJ. We gave him the best shot we could. It was just too hard
for us to keep him on board,”
for us to keep him on board,”said yerdle co-founder Andy Ruben.
Other employees shared similar sentiments. “It’s sad to see him go, but he was just too stiff for our team culture,” said Bretlyn Curtis, Product Manager. Rachel Barge, Director of Marketing, echoed Curtis’ sentiments. “I didn't like his attitude, frankly. I swear he kept giving me the stink eye,” she said.
Adam Macon, Community Engagement, added, “He’d show up late to meetings and then fade away into the corner if he didn't feel like his contributions were appreciated. He was kind of a big baby.”
Other complaints included incessant ball dribbling, trash talking during conference calls, and playing the “Space Jam” soundtrack on repeat at the office. A rumor had been circulating for weeks that Jordan would post up in the bathroom, clogging the toilet on numerous occasions, although no evidence could be found.
The yerdle team wishes MJ the very best in his next endeavor!
