With the launch of yerdle 2.0 this September, we took a huge step forward towards a world which connects us through sharing. Every day on yerdle’s new iPhone app, I see people sharing and receiving unique, useful, fun items. Envisioning these exchanges benefiting people around the world reminds me of the true potential of what
we are working to create: a marketplace that helps people save money, build friendships, and save ecological resources.
At yerdle, we're excited to announce a new opportunity to grow the sharing economy:
We’re looking for 10 awesome individuals who are passionate about bringing a culture of sharing to their community. Appropriately, we’re calling these leaders “Pollinators.” Pollinators deploy yerdle as a tool to help people share in their workplace, sports group, university, etc.
I’m very excited to be working with this
amazing group of people this fall. I’ll be working with each individual pollinator to create fun and inspiring ways of engaging their existing community. For example, working with a captain of the local softball league to gather and share equipment, opening up the sport to hundreds of new people. Or with the green team leader at a local company to create a yerdle workplace sharing system that helps their group hit its sustainability goals. Here at yerdle we
love our pollinators and consider them an integral part of our team. They provide critical on-the-ground experience and feedback that helps to shape the future of yerdle.
We’re looking for pollinators starting today: if you think your community could benefit from sharing, we want you! If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a yerdle pollinator, please send in a letter of interest to local (at) yerdle.com
Let the sharing begin! Adam Macon
