We had a lovely code retreat in Bolinas recently! We were there for a week, staying at Adam's century-old dairy farm, and we wrote a ton of code for yerdle 2.0. It was a great chance to connect as a team. We surfed and hiked, and we cooked meals for each other: Adam's famous roast chicken, dagwood sandwiches, and endless waffles in the morning. We all love food, so we took the time to make it awesome.
On the dev side, we did a bunch of work on the look and feel of the app. and we built out the framework for sending push notifications to our new
app. It was great to get that working and see a push notification go through for the first time.
Bolinas is a great place to surf this time of year if you're a beginner. It's warm, the water is shallow, and the waves are not too crazy but still super fun. At one point, Hugues, Ian, and Hans all caught the same wave together while surfing ("PARTY WAVE!"). And I

If you want
to try surfing, talk to the guys at the 2 Mile Surf Shop in Bolinas. They will do lessons and you can rent all the gear you need from them. And they're a block from the beach.
Be sure to stay tuned. This new version of yerdle will be live in a few weeks or so.
